In this image, Majoli depicts the interaction of one of the patients with an orderly in a relaxed environment outside the hospital walls. This image is a great representation of "capturing the moment" simply because this moment would not exist in any other circumstance. The orderly is being professional in trying to comfort the patient by holding his hand and satisfying his need for human contact, but to the point where one sees that there is no intimacy in the grasp of the interlocking hands. The orderly's job of relaxing the patient is being depicted and simultaneously the patients need for affection is being satisfied and portrayed. Majoli understands this relationship and is able to depict it fully through this photograph.
